The woods were looking beautiful and autumnal as I made up camp and tried out my Thermarest Neoair Xtherm Max! Temps dropped to 6°C and I stayed toasty warm! Have a look at the video for full thoughts, autumn scenery and general wild-campiness.

This was so much fun! An 18 mile hike on the Ridgeway Link Trail from Dunstable Downs to Ivinghoe Beacon and back again, with an overnight stop off in the woods for a wild camp. Storm Alex kindly stopped raining for me to pitch my tent, which was an unexpected bonus!

George and I had the time of our lives! We summited Snowdon on a glorious day via the Miners track, visited the majestic Aber Falls, had an amazing time camping under the stars and lots of water fun at Llyn Gwynant Campsite, and visited Bounce Below and the Llechwedd Slate Caverns (highly recommend!)
