I had a lovely autumn day camp in the woods, carving a pumpkin, having some rice pudding warmed on the firebox with a bit of ghost hunting in the dark 👻 My trail cams caught so much wonderful animal footage for this one! A white deer, a badger and a beautiful fallow buck NEW TENT RAFFLE! While I'm not doing so great and content is slow, I'm raffling a few of my tents! And settled down for a cosy night in the rain. I loooved having a big pillow, this is the Vango Gwent and it was real comfy. It's too big and heavy for hiking but I'll deffo be using it for local camps, on the occasions that I can fit it in my rucksack 😄 I also tried a Light AF mat from Outdoor Gear Essentials under my sleep mat, in place of my usual foil-foam mat. The light AF mat is only a few grams heavier and is nice and non-slip, so it stopped my mat sliding around. I also really liked being able to fold it to make a sit mat I caught some critters on the trail cam and had a comfortable, long sleep in the woods - a lovely lil camp for the last one of 2022 Gear List
