A lil camp using superlight gear; the 'Big 3' tent, sleeping bag and mat all coming in at under 1.5kg! Which is the lightest I've ever tried, but, the mat broke as soon as I lay on it Here's what I used and a brief summary of my thoughts on these 3 items: 🏕 TENT Lanshan Pro 1 690g Great in good weather. My pole was stuck in the collapsed position so I had to use a stick instead, but this actually worked just fine. Not sure what I would do in this situation in the mountains with no sticks around. Not so good in wet weather. Seam sealing can be tricky, sags a lot when wet, unforgiving of a bad pitch and human error 🏕 BAG Sea To Summit Spark II 490g Love it so far! Kept me lovely and warm in 12/13°C. Think this might be perfect for my warm weather multi-night trips. Soo tiny and compact when compressed 🏕 MAT Thermarest Neoair Uberlight 250g Broke internally at the head end as soon as I put weight on it. Wouldn't trust it at all out in the wild, or anywhere actually. In my opinion, not worth the 120g weight saving on the Xlite - I sent it back for a refund Comments are closed.
